Everyone deserves to live in a healthy and safe environment. That environment includes where you live, work, play, and pray. We reject and actively push back against racist rhetoric, actions, policies and institutional oppression that leads to state-sanctioned brutality, gun violence, and harm that again and again assaults communities, particularly communities of color. We are committed to working for justice and equity, and are in solidarity with social, racial, and environmental justice organizations to build community, understanding and honest dialogue to address the root causes of violence, harm and hate.

Summer’s Deceive Rally! See you there!

Rally image, Summer's EveThank you for signing-up to RALLY and raise your voice to tell Summer’s Eve that toxic chemicals and body-shaming are not OK!

For nearly two years we have voiced our concerns to the makers of Summer’s Eve about toxic chemicals, ingredient secrets, and body shaming marketing of their products. Tens of thousands of people have signed petitions echoing these concerns. Yet the corporation has brushed our voices aside. Summer’s Deceive

Summer’s Eve is a popular feminine hygiene brand that markets wipes, washes, and more as “must-haves” for both health and self-image. They capitalize on the blatant and absurd underlying message that vaginas are dirty and in need of cleansing.

It is egregious that these products marketed and sold under the guise of vaginal and sexual health are in fact exposing women to chemicals that can negatively impact their reproductive well-being.

On August 7th we will…

  • Show a united front that you need, want and deserve safe products.
  • Show the makers of Summer’s Eve that you want to know what ingredients are used in personal care products and know they are safe.
  • Generate national attention about toxic chemicals in products like douches, wipes, sprays, powders and washes, and the body-shaming messaging Summer’s Eve uses to sell these products.
  • Highlight the disproportionate impacts Black and Latina women suffer as the result of being higher users of feminine care products such as douches & wipes.
  • Celebrate women’s leadership and your ability to move mountains!

Colorants found in some feminine washes come in contact with vaginal mucous membranes –violating the FDA’s use restrictions, and may adversely affect the health of women using these products.

Watch and share our spoof ads and that call out harmful body-shaming marketing and toxic ingredients in Summer’s Eve feminine wipes.
