Everyone deserves to live in a healthy and safe environment. That environment includes where you live, work, play, and pray. We reject and actively push back against racist rhetoric, actions, policies and institutional oppression that leads to state-sanctioned brutality, gun violence, and harm that again and again assaults communities, particularly communities of color. We are committed to working for justice and equity, and are in solidarity with social, racial, and environmental justice organizations to build community, understanding and honest dialogue to address the root causes of violence, harm and hate.

THANK YOU for Taking on Toxic Secrets!

THANK YOU FOR RAISING YOUR VOICE!

There is power in numbers and – because of you – we just grew in strength!

We believe people have a fundamental right to know what ingredients they are being exposed to whether it is in the home, in the workplace, or public spaces. Knowing what ingredients are used in products is the first necessary step on the path to eliminating the use of harmful ingredients. After all, if we don’t know what we are being exposed to, how can we effectively advocate for safer chemicals?

We’re sick and tired of companies thinking it is ok to keep their ingredients a secret. California’s Toxic Fragrance and Flavors Right to Know Act (SB 312) will help finally end the toxic secrets hiding in cosmetics/personal care products and professional salon products. And Californians won’t be the only ones to benefit. Legislation that passes in California tends to have a national impact and will likely push for disclosure in other states, too.
