Everyone deserves to live in a healthy and safe environment. That environment includes where you live, work, play, and pray. We reject and actively push back against racist rhetoric, actions, policies and institutional oppression that leads to state-sanctioned brutality, gun violence, and harm that again and again assaults communities, particularly communities of color. We are committed to working for justice and equity, and are in solidarity with social, racial, and environmental justice organizations to build community, understanding and honest dialogue to address the root causes of violence, harm and hate.

New Partnership with the National Association of Environmental Medicine

New Partnership with the National Association of Environmental Medicine

Women’s Voices for the Earth is excited to enter a new partnership with the National Association of Environmental Medicine (NAEM). NAEM serves as a resource and community for clinicians to learn and lead in the burgeoning field of environmental medicine, because it’s so important for health care providers to understand how our environmental exposures may impact our health!  As an educational partner, WVE will provide resources, reports and advocacy opportunities to NAEM’s members, and we’ll connect WVE supporters with NAEM’s great resources and events, too.

Learn more about environmental medicine here. If you’re looking for a provider with an awareness of environmental health issues, you can search NAEM’s provider directory to find someone near you. NAEM recently released free resources for clinicians and patients on wildfire smoke and an indoor air filtration guide.

We look forward to sharing more resources and updates as this partnership continues!
